Empowering LGBTQIA+ Students in the City of Colleges

The Robert Loyd and John Schenck Scholarship honors the late founders of Conway, Arkansas Pride and their mission of supporting young queer people in Conway by providing funding for students from Conway or current higher education students attending a Conway college/university/trade or apprenticeship program. The scholarship covers one year (two semesters), and is applied to the student’s account at the school/program of their choice.

  • “It is imperative to have people in the field who are either a member of the LGBTQ+ community themselves, or affirming allies. I wish to offer everyone a space of compassionate understanding in order to empower them to live their best lives and support their recovery journey.”
